Allan has been making shoes and boots for more than 20 years, with a deep interest in the construction techniques that make footwear better. For him, every pair is an opportunity to refine the process, improve the technique, and pass that knowledge on to the next generation of shoemakers.

Over the years, Allan has founded two bespoke footwear brands in Thailand. Don’s Bespoke Footwear specializes in custom elevator shoes and boots across a wide range of sizes and styles, while The Last Shoemaker focuses on bespoke minimalist dress shoes and boots.

Training has always been a major part of Allan’s work. He developed his own shoemaking training program and has taught generations of craftspeople, many of whom continue to build shoes and boots alongside him today.
